La Terrasse

Located just a stone’s throw from the Neuchâtel train station, the La Terrasse restaurant offers flavorful cuisine that evolves with the seasons and the desires of chef Daniel Aires.

The restaurant’s dining area, located on the ground floor of the hotel Alpes et Lac, accommodates up to 50 people à la carte and 100 for festive meals and banquets.

In summer, the panoramic terrace, divided between a bar lounge area and a restaurant area, offers a unique view over the city’s rooftops, the lake and the Alps.

    • Monday to Satuday from 9 am to 11:30 am / 2 pm and 10 pm (The bar is open only weather permitting)
    • Sunday : closed
    • From 5 pm, light bites are available.

  • From Monday to Friday, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
  • Saturday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
  • Special opening upon request for events with a minimum of 30 people

By public transport

La Terrasse is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It’s also possible to reach it with the Fun’Ambule (free with the Neuchâtel Tourist Card). The restaurant is located opposite the station, on the ground floor of the Alpes et Lac hotel.

By car

  • 7 parking spaces are reserved for restaurant customers. They are located on chemin de la Recorbe.
  • Park+Rail 1&2: 20 minutes free, 1st hour CHF 1.50 then CHF 4.00/hour
    CHF 0.50 per hour between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m.
